Mike,

Susan thought the photograph looked like an old oil painting, and I believe she is right!

Gone all day at a job and now back in the icebox, warm by the stove
stay warm yourselves,
Bob

I can feel the warmth. The photo does look like a painting, and wow that painting is a fairy tale. Can't wait to stand in front of it one day soon.

Jeffery,

I'm by the woodfire exactly as it shows here (burning maple) this morning as I watch and work in one more snow drop. It'll be nearing two feet of snow (in 48 hours), some of it the weight of wet sand, by day's end. It's enough to hand shovel the long drive and all the paths — now we've run out of room to throw the snow to, so we're shoveling the snow piles down to make room to shovel more snow onto the piles. The ultimate acoustic existence.

The season to follow will be all mud.

And the season following that one, a river swim.

Hang tight,
Bob
