"This is a song I wrote for my father who passed away 10 December.
It was performed at a Winter Solstice celebration at my neighbor's house with Jamie (bass) & Sean (percussion) Oshima.

This one got to me, dear Bob. "It is what it is."

Out of ink, Betty drew me a black crow high up on a bough overlooking its domain in the here and beyond.

Thoughts of love with you and Susan, this solstice and throughout the recent loss of your friend, the poet, James Koller.

Blood line should get to us, Donna, and this song knows where it is coming from.

Many thanks for your embrace this way to us both, and for Jim Koller and his family.

Merry Merry to you both. We still have enough snow left (rain hasn't taken it all) for a nightfall Christmas Eve.

stay warm, Bob (& Susan)

Yeah, thanks Bob. I'm so glad I was able to watch this. I needn't tell you what James Koller means to me, to a very great many, but I know he was a close personal friend of yrs and Susan's, so please accept my words and thoughts over yr loss.

All best,
