My Morning

in the garden

along the rows

on her long hair

down her arms

Always The Way

She peeks in my window

But she is so pretty

I’m already peeking out

Working with her in the sun

We break for lunch in the sun

Share sandwiches in the sun

Finish and lay back in the sun

Suddenly we are kissing in the sun

The Kiss

She can do this what she’s doing

If light could be liquid, well then

This is it, thrilling itself into

The lamp, and only later do I

Taste the kerosene on her lips

Hi Mike & Laura,

I read your kind comments this morning together and write both fine poets back together! Ever thanks for a good eye to the little poems of once upon a time that still live here all about a time. Love poems to Carson sprinkled in there during all the past weeks, who is now a young man of thirty-three bringing us two little granddaughters who are making for me even more love poems — unstoppable! It's all meant to be shared
in shattering times.

all's well, Bob
