Bob,

I couldn't stop watching this or now stop thinking about it. Even Stern seemed on his best behavior in the presence of such presence.

stay close,

Mike,

First off, we're listening to a musician, in these times, who was capable of selling "500,000" albums in a month, admitting that this was all secondary compared to keeping her dignity, focus and self-respect. Stern, typically for his audience, hedges around her beauty, lust et al., and gets nowhere. In fact, he's humbled. Jewel, with the help of Stern, covers serious subjects: abuse, parent relationships, father/mother, the scummy music industry, raising a child, tweaking a fan base, marriage, being a woman, and Jewel starts the show off by taking seriously a Stern childhood composition and making applesauce out of it. . .with a guitar that is never out of her hands. I'm here to play.

all's well, Bob
