TALKIN' CID CORMAN ~

Kelly Writers House pays host to two events celebrating the work of Cid Corman:

Yesterday U Penn showed a panel discussion and reading of Cid Corman. Many asked why I wasn't invited. They don't get that academics don't invite non-academics, unless, of course, they are famous and have a drawing card. In that situation even Cid wouldn't have been invited, and often he wasn't. One more irony in the road show of poetry in America. I made a link on the Birdhouse for this duo-event in case anyone wanted to watch the program. It had some fine moments.

A poem (or more) will be offered by the hour or with the day and at the very least once a week. So stay on your webbed toes. The aim is to share good hearty-to-eat poetry. This is a birdhouse size file from the larger Longhouse which has been publishing from backwoods Vermont since 1971 books, hundreds of foldout booklets, postcards, sheafs, CD, landscape art, street readings, web publication, and notes left for the milkman.
