FURRY LEWIS
Here's who we need to take us into March — Furry Lewis, born in Greenwood, MS., and raised in Memphis where he worked as a street sweeper for the city until he retired at age 73. There are two headstones at Furry Lewis's grave in South Memphis and that's something he didn't know about when he passed away at age 88. The second headstone was purchased by his fans.
