Francesca Woodman (1958-1981) a life gone to suicide at the age of 21, this opulent volume attempts to capture the nine years of a life's work by this compelling photographer.

Beautifully presented with none of the mystery, immediacy, or harrowing edges of the photographer's eye lost to the immaculate layout. The text is informative and wise, but gladly, over 3/4 of the book depth is given to her photographs.
