was nothing like it then, or now, and neither
is George R. Stewart. Find his other books.
One of my favorites is US 40.
The above cloth edition is too spectacular looking
with its original cover to pass up, but for a
re-reading I am using the fine New York
Review of Books re-issue, the
intrepid publisher.
